What we build
A Luminary site has two layers, and both matter.
The film is a continuous camera flight through a world built for your business alone — generated from your own materials, colours and work, not selected from a library. Scroll drives the camera. There are no cuts between scenes, because each clip ends on the exact frame the next one begins.
The document sits over it: real semantic HTML carrying every word of meaning on the page. It works with JavaScript disabled. It is readable by a crawler that has never run a script.
Every build includes both a desktop chain and a native portrait chain for mobile — composed for portrait, never a centre-crop of the landscape film. Most of your visitors are on a phone, and a cropped film looks exactly like a cropped film.
Common questions
- How long does a build take?
- Three to four weeks from URL to live site. The longest stage is copy, and the approval gate at previz is where most of the decisions get made.
- Do I need to supply photography?
- No. The world is generated. If you have good photography of your own work we will use it as reference so the world carries your actual materials, but it is not a requirement.
- Will it work on an old phone?
- Yes. The film loads only when it is needed and never blocks the page. Anyone whose device or connection cannot handle it gets the still images and the full content, not a broken site.
